Functions, tasks and Authorities :
- The office of the people's council and people's committee of Mong Cai Town is a functional organ of Mong Cai people's committee. Acting as a counsellor for the Town's people's council and people's committee in implementing functions, tasks, authorities of the people's council and people's committee under the law on the organization of people's councils and people's committees and suitable with the legal regulations.
- Participate in the researches to construct plans, policies and regulations; organizing to co-ordinate in harmonious all activities of the state administrative machinery in the locality; ensuring to provide the materials and technical conditions to serve the operations of the Standing people's council and people's committee.
- Assisting the people's committee in implementing the state management in terms of Foreign affairs, emulation and reward, nationality and religion.
- The office of the people's council and people's committee of Mong Cai Town is under the direct management of the Standing people's council and people's committee and the professional skills from the office of the provincial people's council and people's committee; External Relation Office; Quang Ninh Provincial Committee for Nationalities and Religion.
